ROE NETWORK

Research

A coordinated agenda for understanding operation-driven ecosystem change.

Research themes

ROE research connects hydrology, thermal structure, nutrients and materials, oxygen and redox, connectivity, habitats, biodiversity, water quality and carbon cycling.

Methods across scales

Field observations, sensor networks, remote sensing, controlled experiments, tracers and hybrid modelling are integrated across event, seasonal and long-term scales.

Comparative reservoir science

Shared protocols can reveal which responses generalize across climate, morphology, trophic state, operation purpose and regulation regime.

Collaborative opportunities

Future working groups may coordinate synthesis, intercomparison, observatories, methods and early-career activities. Calls will be posted when formally launched.
